After getting the nod from a friend of mine about a cute dress from the Lucky Chairs at I tp'd into Canimal last night to check it out. I spent a good while there before I tp'd in 2 of my friends to help me out.

One of the newest things I have come across on my travels is the Designer Showcase Network or DSN. Basically the idea is that people can subscribe to get samples of work from any SL Designer who are registered with the DSN. There are different channels to subscribe to (womens fashion, mens fashion, skins, furniture etc) and when you subscribe you will get a random sample from a new designer, every day.

Today I got this sample from MichaMi today and I am completely in love with it. There was a bustier and a cardigan in the package and both are gorgeous. I went straight over to their store and did some investigating ;p

The sample was of "Carmella" and instore, it is L$250 for the full set, which includes the bustier, cardigan and a skirt in both Black and Blush. The sample set was in a special Blush colour:

I would really recommend paying them a visit as they have other really awesome outfits and seperates there for great prices.

The first two freebie skis are by a new store I stumbled across thanks to a tip off from my friend Six. The store is called Glance and they make some really beautifully detailed female skins.

These next two freebie skins are from L'Oring.. They used to be called Lazzoli, but have rebranded. They make some gorgeous skins in lots of different tones and make-ups, including some fun make up styles. They also do some skins based on celebrities such as Pink and Madonna aswell as a couple of very pretty Asian skins.

The Linda Skin is in a box on a shelf in the left side of the store. The Jordan skin can be found on the shelf of Jordan skins.. you will need to run your cursor over each box to find the box for 0L.

Ivalde reopening gifts

I have always loved the store Ivalde as I have a soft spot for vintage wear.

Well now they have moved to their own Sim and have reopened, bigger and better and with two gorgeous reopening gifts to celebrate their move.

And I would also like to mention the shoes worn with the outfits. In the first picture I am wearing a pair of cute Ballet Boots from KaShoeZ. I bought these from their XStreet store where they currently have them on offer with 2 other sets of boots... so you get 3 styles of boots for 100L. They are colour changable, resized scripted and have optional sound effect / ao.

And there are also these shoes which are from HoC Industries. They come in two parts.. the base and the strap, so you can wear them with or without turning them into plain pumps. They too are colour changable and resize scripted and are cost just 30L.

Malt - Spring Group Gift

I got a lovely surprise this morning when I logged into SL. Malt released a new group gift for Spring, and there it was sitting in my inventory!

There are several ways you can choose to wear it. As a shirt and capri leggings, a dress, or a dress over the capris like I have worn it in the picture. The cute belt and neck tie are included too.

I got an invitation from the owner of Malt to the opening of the new Malt SIM, so I popped alog to take a look at the expansion of one of my new favourite stores.

It is a beautiful new area. Very cleanly designed and spacious with the new Malt Store at one side of the SIM and a lots of stores waiting to be filled in the Shopping Village. Not to mention the new Spork Store, filled with its own gorgeous outfits.

The two main stores are running a 50L Simwide Hunt from now until 28th March. There are 15 boxes to find... 10 from Malt and 5 from Spork. I went around and bought up a few of the ones that took my fancy from Malt and decided to take a few pictures.

I ended up in the Psychotic Neko sim earlier today, after hearing about an Easter Egg hunt from the girls at the Freestyle Blog.

Among the many free gifts that are wrapped up in little Easter eggs and dotted around in participating stores, there is this little beauty from Katat0nik:

Kuri Style

I got a message through from one of the groups about new outfits from the super cute store Kuri Style. So I hopped on the landmark and went to take a look.

The two new outfits called "No War" and "Houndstooth" are both available in 3 different colour optios. And as unbelievably low priced as they are already, Kuri has one of each outfit specially priced for their release.

The "Houndstooth" dress is just so cute and is full of spring-coloured goodness. The Blue Trimmed version is on sale for just 5L! Its full price is 100L - still a total bargain if you ask me!

The second outfit "No War" has sequin shorts to die for and a cute little scarf that makes it so sweet. The Blue Shirt/Black Short version is on sale for a mere 2L! Its full price is 70L, so no excuse not to scoop them all up!

I also took the time to look around the store and found amazing bargains in these adorable outfits:

This is called "One Piece Rose" and is just so kooky I could squeel with delight! I absolutely love the socks. This is currently on sale for 10L

This outfit is called "Beige and Red Lace". The lace detailing on the dress is gorgeous. It is currently on sale for 10L also.

There are lots of other discounted outfits there for between 1L and 10L aswell as lots of other yummy outfits at the usual prices.

While doing the Clover hunt at Petite Chou I came across a store called Malt. After falling in love with their green cardigan which was one of the hunt prizes, I decided to pop along to their main store.

To my delight I found 2 cute outfits.. one a Dollerbie and the other a snap at a mere 90L!

This is the Dollerbie outfit called "Fevhers". Also worn in the picture are:

There really has been a whole heap of yummy free skins over this last weekend. What with the ones from Imagen and Forty Two that I have already blogged about, I came across these gorgeous ones today!

Lazolli has another new Dollerbie skin set out today called Phoebe. It comes in Tan and Light and I think its really cute. There are other freebies there too called Julia and Lucy are worth picking up, but I think Pheobe is the prettiest yet.

And also.. Domestic V are having a sale! Fatpacks of skins for 25L! So needless to say, I hotfooted it over there and bought some some of them. Inside the fatpacks you get 3 skin tones and several make-ups for each.

The sale isnt on for very long, but I would really recommend running out and getting some of the skins. They are very pretty and the body definition is really good too.

Being that its St Patricks Day on Tuesday, I decided to put together a Green themed outfit from the freebies that I found wandering around SL.

I am wearing:

+ Rockstar Dipped Hair from House of Heart at their Hairspray 2 location. This is a free gift pack found just inside the door to the right.
+ Skin from Imagen which was part of the Clover hunt, on until March 31st.
+ Green Cardigan is by Malt Fashions and is one of the freebies in the Clover hunt at Petite Chou. The hunt is on until 21st March.
+ Shorts are part of the Swimslut Bikini outfit by Figure 8. Its from the St Pats edition which costs 8L.
+ Shoes are by Katat0nik and are part of a fatpack which includes 7 colours all for free!

Duh! Boots

I spent some time talking with a friend today. She told me that she found some cute little ankle boots in a store called Duh! while on a shopping venture the other day.. and the good thing was they only cost her 20L! So I had to go and take a peek. She gave me the landmark and off I went.

And they are indeed cute. I ended up buying them in Black, but they also have them in Pink, Red, Beige, Brown and Grey.

The added bonus is that they are participating in the Go Fly A Kite Gridwide Hunt... so if you find the kite, you get these pretty pair of powder blue ones for free ;p

They also have other boots and shoes there worthy of taking a quick look at. Not to mention 2 Dollerbies and a lucky chair!

I decided I needed to shake away my writers cramp. So this is just a random place for me to blog freebies I have found in SL and general SL related things.

So, to start off.. my first few freebie pictures:

The detail on the skin is really nice.. it comes in two shades (this is the lighter of the two) and have really sweet freckles on it. Im not a fan of freckles on skins in SL generally but I personally think this is really cute.

Also if you go over to Fourty Two and click on the group subscriber, you can find these gorgeous complimentary skins in 3 colours.. Pale, Neutral and Tan:

And also free at Forty Two at the moment are these gorgeous Goth Skins with Blood lips or Bubblegum lips.
